The Project: The project was working in conjunction with volunteer labour to produce the temple of contemplation. Our part in this project was with the timber and roofing component. Overseeing the erection, positioning and fixing of the large timber beams then finishing the temple structure roof with modern stylish colourbond. To work on a site of such peace and beauty was a wonderful bonus to us.

Client Wanted: The project started as a volunteer community project which came to a stage which needed professional tradesmen to complete the Japanese temple to the standard the architect, administrator and client required.

Our Solution: Complete the structure to the specifications given.

The Result: A beautiful aesthetically pleasing building with a genuine Japanese ambience.

We were really impressed by the work done by Houston’s. They did a first class job and worked very well with our volunteers on site. The tradesmen in your team we very courteous and punctual. As this is an unusual building there were many complications that Houston’s resolved for us in a very timely and efficient manner. We would use them again if the need arises.

Yours truly, Jenny Wilson, President, Friends of the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden.
